Minor League Baseball has become a space for teams to pay homage to the history and economy of their communities. Coinciding with the Iowa Cubs' reflection of an alternate identity, the 2020 presidential election became a prominent headline across the nation, with Iowa often mentioned synonymously. Thus, the Iowa Caucuses were born.
